The mission of Salem Community Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who and spread scriptural holiness across the globe.
The Vision
Our vision is to be a church family of authentic believers who join God in bringing new life, reconciliation, and the presence of Christ to our neighbors and beyond, helping each person grow to reflect the character of Jesus
What Does That Mean?
So what does that mean? It means we believe God’s grace is for real people in the real world. God meets us where we are, forgives us through Jesus, and then changes us from the inside out. We’re not trying to be perfect overnight; but we’re learning by the help of the Holy Spirit, to love God with our whole hearts and to love our neighbors in practical ways. That’s what we mean by "scriptural holiness." We desire to live lives shaped by God’s Word, marked by humility, integrity, mercy, and a growing desire to look more like Christ.
And it also means we don’t try to do any of this alone. We grow through worship, prayer, Scripture, Holy Communion, and life together, encouraging one another, confessing when we fall short, and getting back up to follow Jesus again. As God forms Christ’s character in us, we believe it spills outward: into our families, our friendships, our work, and our community. And we'd love for you to be a part of that.
